Verse of the Day
KELP AM/FM - El Paso's Christian Station!
December 1, 2013
A family was discussing the Second Coming of Christ after church one Sunday. The father concluded the discussion by encouraging each of his children to live every day as if it were their last. His teenage son replied. “I tried that once and you grounded me for a month!”
If you knew today was your last day on earth, how would you spend it? The Bible says Christ will return without warning at a time we least expect. In fact, He could return today! If you’re not sure how to prepare for that event, the Bible can tell you how.
Accept the Christ of Scripture, and be attentive to how you live, knowing that your actions will have eternal consequences.
Here we are on the last month of the year. Where did all the time go? Christmas will be here soon. Don’t forget to remind the sales person who is saying ”Happy Holidays", oh no you say its ”Merry Christmas.” I guess it’s up to us Christians to keep Christ in Christmas. They try every year to take the Lord out of His birthday. We need to stay strong.
Thank you for your support this year. We see more people every year accepting the Lord and asking Him to come into their life. “Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he is God.”(1John 4:15 Niv)
Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year,
